On Saturday 24 September 2022 at 7.00pm the multi award-winning Northampton Male Voice Choir (NMVC) will present its “Last Night of the Proms” concert. The choir, conducted by its Musical Director, Stephen Bell, will be joined by the world famous GUS Championship Brass Band and special guest soloist, the fabulous soprano, Emily Haig.
This promises to be a magical night simply bursting with music to entertain you, with a fantastic range of music from the sublime Sibelius Finlandia Overture to Ron Goodwin’s 633 Squadron and a rousing selection of songs from NMVC. The evening will end with a flag waving, “Last Night” sing-a-long with Emily Haig including favourites such as Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. Audience participation will be essential.
