On Saturday 24 July NMVC LITE opened the live evening show of “One Voice – The Concert” at Northampton’s Deco Theatre with all profits from the event going to The Northamptonshire Community Foundation Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund.
Conducted by NMVC’s Musical Director, Stephen Bell and accompanied on piano by Andy Poole, NMVC LITE sang Andy’s arrangements of three memorable songs from West Side Story, the 60’s hit ballad “A Portrait of My Love” followed by a rousing performance of “The Wellerman” sea shanty with some very enthusiastic audience participation lead by Musical Director, Stephen.
NMVC LITE will next be performing on Saturday 28 August, when they appear as guests in a “Night at The Proms” event presented by Joshua Daniel “The Tenor” in the United Reform Church, Union Street, Desborough at 7:00pm.
NMVC LITE group will also be singing at the full NMVC’s “Last Night of the Proms” concert on 25 September at Spinney Hill Theatre, Northampton, together with the GUS Band and Soprano, Emily Haig.
